Wow, it’s been awhile!

A lot has been happening lately. My husband and I put an offer on a house and it was accepted yesterday. So, now we get to go through the process! I am sooooo excited!

The house is a 3 bedroom double-wide trailer on a full cement foundation located on 2+ acres.

I am starting classes to become a LNA while doing PC shows on the side. My husband is getting more hours of work now. With all the snow that we have been getting, we have doing fine. Now that we are buying a home, we are trying to get prepared for all the bills to come!

I guess that is it for now!

Pampered Chef Parties

So my first show went off really well. I only had one minor problem. I forgot what the monthly guest special was and told the guests the wrong thing (the correct Jan. special is the small bamboo spoon set). So, I called the two that qualified for the guest special and explained what happened. One lady was fine about it and the other was very upset. She did not like bamboo.

Tonight, I had my second show. Everything was going well, until I cut my finger with the pizza cutter. Thankfully, the guests were just family.

Anyway, I may be off to a slow start, but I think that I am doing fine. I am just enjoying the fun and cooking.

Update on our house search. We are going to be looking at some homes on Monday. Hopefully, we will find something we like.

Less than a week to go!

I am going to be holding 3 Pampered Chef parties next week. I am getting nervous and excited!!!

Monday, we are going to look at a few houses! It is so exciting! A lot is going on right now!

Daughter #2 is now sitting up on her own (if she is at an angle) and loving her Jolly Jumper. She is definetly growing. Her face has lost some of the baby fat and is almost as tall as her sister…which is kinda scary since her sister is 2 1/2 years old. I have no idea where the tall genes are coming from…except for my husband’s father’s side of the family. My side of the family is short and so is my husband’s mother’s side. Wow, that was a mouth full!

Daughter #1 has been wanting to play Candy Land, so I am off to play a round or two!

Pre-Approval…FINALLY!

So I just got back from the mortgage office and we are finally approved for a mortgage. Now we can seriously look at houses and hopefully get the one that we want! Had to come on and tell the world!

I’m Back!

So after a few days of not posting, I am finally getting back on and letting you all know what is going on with me.

My husband has had this last week off from the post office and I was finally able to use my car to go places.

We are also still tied up trying to get pre-approved for buying a home. My husband’s boss AGAIN messed up the paperwork. We have been trying to get through this process for over 2 months now. We have decided to go through someone else that isn’t part-time and is taking us seriously. We have missed 3 houses in our price range that we liked! So hopefully, we can now seriously look at houses!!! We, my husband especially, are really starting to find our 1 bedroom apartment constraining.

Daughter #2 is now rolling over both ways consistantly, so no more couch by herself! Daughter #1 has had a relapse into taining diapers, but I think that may have had something to do with us staying at my parent 5 days and playing so much that she wasn’t paying attention to what she was feeling. Also, I think I haven’t been asking her to go potty as often…so we are working on this again!

I am trying to get my last date booked, so that I can get my Pampred Chef kit. I have two parties booked for the end of the month, but I am having a little bit of trouble getting the 4th party booked!

End of the Silence

So, I haven’t been on for a bit, because we were in Maine celebrating Christmas with my parents. And celebrating their 29th anniversary!

We are going to look at a home on Friday, hoping that we will be able to buy something soon. Although, myhusband’s boss messed up the paperwork…AGAIN!!!! So now we are going to be doing our tax return and then see what happens with that!

Still trying to get people to nail down dates for their Pampered Chef party. I hope that I can, but it looks that things are still not going like I planned. I just keep reminding myself that it is all up to God on what happens!

Update

So last night, my husband and I have decided that we just want to simply buy a home that we will be happy in for at least 5 years and not worry about getting a bigger place or more land. This past month has been a little off for us, but with the way that he has been working and the way that the paychecks are coming. The bills and the paychecks coming in were a little off. But we are getting through it, on top of that we had Christmas and our anniversary!

I am still working on getting Pampered Chef shows booked. I have 6 people who want them, but they haven’t given me a date yet and I need 4 dates to order my kit. So I am feeling a little nervous, but I know that with God I can do this.

Christmas Celebrations

So, I think we have gotten through all the Christmas celebrations in our family, except for my parents (which is next weekend). The family is finally catching up on sleep and the girls are having fun playing with their new toys.

My husband surprised me with a 3 hour Spa Package. I am so excited to use it. I will finally have some time to myself. The fact that hubby is still using my car every day and that I am stuck at home during the day is starting to wear on me.

Daughter #1 is excited about her new baby doll and Candy Land. Daughter #2 is happy with her rattles and dolly.

Merry Christmas!

I am up still (it’s 1am) getting things ready. We bought wrapping paper, so presents are now wrapped, except for mine (Hubby was tired and said he would wrap them in the morning). I am filling the bathtub right now, in case we should loose power because of the wind. I guess that is about it. I just keep reminding myself what Christmas is about!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Since I have no idea if I will be on tomorrow, I thought I would come on and wish everyone a Merry Christmas! It is hard this year. Not that trees, stockings, and gifts make Christmas. It is all about the little baby born many years ago. The little baby Jesus that grew up and died for all of us and saved us from our sins.

I have been having a little trouble focusing on that this year. We don’t have a Christmas tree this year (our apartment is too crowded), we couldn’t find our stockings this year (although we did find the girls stockings…thank goodness), and my husband hasn’t had time to buy me any gifts (except for the stamp pads that I bought and the spinning wheel).  Not that I need any more gifts, I just would love something small that I don’t know about.

Well, I still have some laundry to do, cookies and coffee pie to make, and getting gifts ready. Our church building is still being used as a shelter for those that still don’t have power, so we might be going to my in-laws church for Christmas Eve.

As you can tell, my head is spinning with everything going on!
